Campaigner – Green Reconstruction of Ukraine

Located in Ukraine, Kyiv region

Job requirements

The successful candidate on this position will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating the campaign in Kyiv, organizing the work process

  • Participating in the design of campaign strategy with the international team, dedicated to the Green reconstruction of Ukraine

  • Implementation of projects and tasks, according to the strategy

  • Building expertise and an expert community for showcasing the Green reconstruction of Ukraine

  • Representing Greenpeace work during events, preparing positions - towards political and economic decision makers

  • Building a network of allies and influencers supporting the campaign

  • Identifying opportunities and developing strategies to leverage

  • Collaborating on national, regional and international level - participating in events, coordinating and preparing common positions

  • Serving as a spokesperson for Greenpeace - presentations, conferences,  interviews

Experience and skills needed:

  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm for environmental protection

  • Excellent spoken and written English and Ukrainian

  • Proven success track record in civil society campaigning

  • Good representation and networking skills

  • Good understanding of economy, infrastructure and energy systems is a plus

  • Excellent rhetoric/communications skills and persuasive power

  • Creativity and courage

  • Ability to lead and motivate people

  • Availability to travel
