ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Process Manager, you possess a strong combination of business architecture and business process management skills. You will be hands-on, designing and optimizing the key business processes that drive our organization. Your work will align with our strategic objectives, ensuring our business processes are efficient, effective, and scalable. You will proactively share and advise on industry and implementation best practices and partner with both technical and business stakeholders.
This is a full-time, exempt role reporting to our Sr. Director, IT. This position is a remote role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive, consistent, and scalable business process architecture that aligns with the organization's overall business goals and strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze current business processes, and understand business needs, requirements, and objectives
- Design, model, and implement new or optimized business processes, ensuring they contribute to operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Establish performance metrics to measure the success and efficiency of business processes and facilitate continuous improvement efforts
- Work closely with IT architects, business analysts, and data analysts to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions with designed business processes
- Evaluate and recommend new process technologies and tools to improve business process management capabilities at an enterprise level
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards across business processes
- Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives
- Manage and prioritize incoming requests from multiple business units
- Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members
- Manage outside contractors as needed
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of experience in business process design and optimization, with a focus on enterprise-level processes
- B.S. degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent years of professional experience in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of business architecture principles and practices
- Expertise in business process modeling and notation (BPMN) or other process modeling languages like UML
- Experience with business process management (BPM) tools and software
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Understanding of information technology, systems, and integration principles
- Ability to visualize growth and build high-level models for future analysis and maturing the current business architecture
- Experience with customer journey mapping and user experience design
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and practices
- Proficiency in process mapping and documentation tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio)
- One or more relevant certifications in business architecture, business process management; Agile or Lean/Six Sigma preferred
- Knowledge of performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ability to facilitate workshops and meetings effectively
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at various levels within the organization
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
HOW WE DEFINE SUCCESS
Within the first 30 days
- Understand company structure, product lines, and current business processes
- Understand state of current project portfolio
Within the first 90 days
- Take ownership of our current business processes project portfolio
- Take point on existing business process projects and scope new process improvement projects
- Develop a strategic roadmap, prioritize key projects, understand business needs, and company growth projections
Within the first 6 months
- Kick off new projects; establish process governance plans and performance metrics
- Start creating comprehensive end-to-end process maps designed for a broad range of stakeholders that illustrate both the current and future state of enterprise-level processes
Within the first year
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders across the organization, becoming a trusted advisor on business process optimization
- Demonstrate a significant reduction in process bottlenecks and inefficiencies through the successful implementation of process improvement projects
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation: The starting base pay for this position is $118,000 to $151,000 in the US. The total compensation package for the successful candidate in this role may exceed the base pay as it includes other incentive pay. The base pay is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
