ELEVATE has also developed the first KPI-based monthly monitoring program to show the links between business performance issues and social non-compliance.  When a supplier needs more guidance our Capacity Building experts design holistic and custom improvement plans to create long-term solutions.

Of particular need is to find a new blood that is passinate in business development, ESG and in the future who is capable of supporting local businesses – namely factories, factory groups and vendors/agents – who work with global brands and retailers, and those businesses’ pursuit of complying to and improving against global brands and retailers’ sustainability goals. This person would be the face of ELEVATE in the region, charged with selling key services, more specifically:

Social and Environmental Audits / Assessments
Desktop Assessment services (CAP management, EQ and Worker Survey)

The trainee role will providing a training period in the first four months that help you to have knowledge on our product, understands the value of sales to an organization and skill set to become a sales profressional that play a key role to contribute on the company growth.

Learning Opportunity:

Training Period (First 4 months):

  • Learn the business development process, understanding its key components and methodologies.
  • Learn how to Identify new business opportunities through market research and analysis, seeking potential clients
  • Learn skill of doing qualify leads by assessing their suitability and alignment with our company's offerings.
  • Collaborate with the team and learn how to negotiate with the client to close deals
  • Learn skill on prepare presentations and reports for potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our services.
  • Assist on manage and track the sales pipeline
  • A senior will as a mentor, share the sales experience and lead you towards a successful sales professional

Responsibilities (After Completion of Training):

  • Identify qualify customer leads and reach out to them through differenet channel, (e.g., cold calling, cold email, networking, and social media)

  • Develop and execute effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and build a long-term partnership.

  • Conduct continuous market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

  • Prepare comprehensive presentations, reports, showcasing the our key services in Elevate.

  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and efficient client engagement.

  • Identify business roadmaps that suit for clients needs and help them on implenementation.

  • Proactively manage opportunity pipeline to maximize growth opportunities with both existing customers, and prospects

  • Work closely with ELEVATE assessment and product teams to support across multiple business units of partner companies

  • Support evaluation of customer satisfaction and feedback.

  • Occasional travel is required to meet with clients and explore business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration / sustainability / environmental compliance / social compliance is a plus.

  • Experience on working with factories and vendors is a plus.

  • Strong interest and a passion for learning in business development .

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and client interactions.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to group success.

  • Fluency in local dialects a must, good in English is preferred

  • Proactive, customer-oriented, detail-oriented and creative

  • Good organizational and time management skills
