The role is for a building services design engineer and the candidate is required to have experience in a similar role previously.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer and to join our team at our Madrid office to work on some of the most exciting building design projects in Spain and internationally.
Working across a variety of sectors including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Rail, Workplace and Residential, you will work in a team of expert engineers and technicians and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects for high profile public and private clients.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business. You’ll have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and with accredited professional development programmes from CIBSE and IET, you’ll be fully supported towards achieving chartership.
Educated to Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering and having gained experience in an Electrical Engineering role within a building services context (design and coordination of electrical distribution and power generation, lighting, security systems etc), you are already well versed in the use of relevant design software including Amtech and ideally, Dialux.
You are organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities, you strive to meet deadlines and have a close appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions.
Collaborative in nature, you’ll be able to empathise with your clients’ needs and utilise excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders. You’re used to using your initiative to overcome challenges and have a positive, can-do attitude.
