Up With Women / Exponenti’elles is a national charity dedicated to helping recently homeless and at-risk women and gender diverse individuals to build a sustainable pathway out of poverty. Currently serving in 4 provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec), Up With Women/Exponenti’elles is committed to serving our clients in the official language of their choice, anywhere within our service areas.

You are an organized, self-motivated go-getter with demonstrated senior level management leadership experience who is excited about the opportunity to work and grow in a proven, innovative and growing high-impact charity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the national Director of Operations, you would be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Up With Women/Exponenti'elles (UWW) and supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on the organization’s national scaling strategy, cultural and organizational development. Working with the CFO, finance, administration and program teams, you would manage UWW’s finance and administration, emerging programs, and human resources.This ever-evolving role requires a high degree of collaboration with internal partners to ensure an efficient and effective service delivery for clients and customers while ensuring best practices in diversity, equity and inclusion.
You will be accountable for meeting operational and program delivery targets, while supporting the growth of our program opportunities and stakeholder relations to align with the strategic plan.
As part of our diverse team, your role may include accountabilities that fall under the following categories:
Finance and Administration
Oversee and support financial planning, reporting, and audit.
Manage operations in new service areas across Canada.
Conduct organizational audits
Negotiate organization-level partnerships and contractual arrangements.
Promote cost-efficient program delivery with compliance to approved policies and procedures.
Identify best practices and improve internal systems with a focus on future needs and budget realities.
