About auticon

auticon is a global, award-winning consulting organisation with a social mission to address the inequalities in employment for autistic and neurodivergent people.  For over a decade we have enabled autistic people to thrive in successful careers as technology consultants. In doing so we have had a measurable impact on the organisations we work with, changing perceptions and enabling the benefits of a neurodiverse workforce. We are proud to be a majority-autistic organisation with presence in 9 countries. We share our depth of lived experience through auticon Neuroinclusion Services (NI Services), to empower more businesses to be confident neuroinclusive workplaces.  Our vision is to see neurodiversity work at work!

Role profile

auticon’s Neuroinclusion Services are built on our decade-long experience of successfully attracting, recruiting, and supporting autistic employees. We know that an increasing number of organisations want to attract, support, and retain neurodivergent talent. Yet, there is very little structure or experienced know-how available to help them along their neuroinclusion continuum. auticon is the first international NI services provider offering lived experience, training, advice, technology solutions and experienced coaching to support organisations that want to fulfil and step up their Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) goals. With offices in 9 countries - and expanding – auticon’s NI Services team brings international and multi-cultural perspectives to support global businesses with their neuroinclusion goals.

We are looking for neurodiversity experts who bring academic, lived or work experience of supporting neurodivergent individuals and establishing inclusive practices for an organisation. As a NI Services Consultant, you will be at the forefront, delivering auticon’s unique offer to client organisations. You will work closely with the country operations team and the wider NI Services global teams to assess, recommend and implement bespoke solutions that help our client organisations on their neuroinclusion continuum.

You will have experience of change management projects and be comfortable with ambiguity. The ideal candidate for this role will have the ability to work on multiple projects, understand client requirements and their context and deliver meaningful solutions for them. You will have a learner’s mindset and thrive in the challenges of learning about new sectors and staying abreast with industry trends.

As a neurodiversity subject-matter expert, you will also work with cross-functional teams right from introducing auticon’s NI Services offer to clients, developing creative solutions to address neurodiversity, and problem-solving any potential roadblocks in client projects.

This is a client-facing role that will require a responsive and flexible approach. You will be comfortable working as an advisor on one project, a trainer on another or a subject-matter expert when required. You should have the ability to confidently deliver any of the training or advisory services to client organisations.

You will have access to auticon’s leading-edge NI training content and other resources to support your own development. You will be among a group of auticon neurodiversity experts spread globally who share research, resources and best practices and are all motivated and inspired to make the world a more equitable place.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out NI maturity assessments for client organisations and work with the wider NI Services team to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Use auticon’s tools, technologies and methodologies to deliver on NI Services consulting assignments.
  • Deliver client-facing NI training including seminars, workshops or interactive awareness sessions as part of business development or project delivery.
  • Develop strong relationships with client organisations, establishing yourself as a go-to expert who can share informed, credible and confident point of view on topics relating to neurodiversity.
  • Support commercial opportunities as a subject-matter expert, with active contribution throughout the sales cycle.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider NI Services teams across markets to share best practice and learning with a view to enhancing auticon’s offer for clients.

Qualifications

  • Direct experience working with neurodivergent individuals.
  • An undergraduate degree in psychology, social pedagogy or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Qualification or professional experience in change management or business transformation.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in consulting, DEIB, ESG or related field in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of neurodiversity and a good grasp of the debates around it.
  • Experience of cross-functional projects with strong project management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Comfort in ambiguity, attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Ability to develop and integrate solutions from a network of tools, trainings, and resources.
  • Ability to develop a perspective and influence a team on neurodiversity topics. Confidence in communicating complex ideas and messages across large stakeholder groups.
  • Outstanding written, presentation, and verbal communication.

If you meet some but not all of the criteria, we encourage you to still apply.
