The role: Associate Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Works as a member of the R&D test station development team to design and commission test rigs for various projects at Svante.
• Creates & reviews Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for test stations.
• Assists in assembling and commissioning the designed test stations in the lab including electrical and mechanical components.
• Troubleshoots test station start-up, shutdown, and operating performance issues.
• Performs various calculations relating to heat transfer, flow rates and gas composition.
• Creates engineering documentation to support commissioning testing, operation, and maintenance manuals.
• Produces technical specifications and selects instrumentation and equipment.
• Carries out other related tasks and projects as required.

Key Qualifications:

• 0-2 years experience, familiar using:
  • P&IDs
  • Control systems (PLC)
• Some project management experience
  • MS Project
• Experience using Office software
• Experience using Visio
• Experience using SolidWorks
