About the opportunity

SWCA Environmental Consultants is looking for an Associate Talent Acquisition Coordinator - Recruiter to join the Human Resources team. This role is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team and function, which requires passion and commitment to fill job vacancies with quality candidates  in a timely manner.  The selected candidate must possess competency in sourcing, interviewing techniques, and basic knowledge of employment policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

The Associate Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support the organization's recruiting strategies, programs, policies, and procedures by maintaining a positive and consultative relationship with employees and business leaders.  This is a regular, full-time position based out of any SWCA offices, with location preferences in California, Texas, or Florida.  Remote work locations will be strongly considered for the right candidate.

What you will accomplish

  • Conduct full-cycle recruiting efforts for environmentally and archaeologically-focused job openings
  • University recruiting (e.g. interns, New College Graduate)
  • Source for candidates on major job sites (e.g., Indeed, Linked In recruiter, possibly Zoominfo)
  • Review and phone interview applicants
  • Arrange phone interviews for applicants with hiring managers
  • Interact daily with the Applicant Tracking System, Social Media sites, and other job boards
  • Comply with Recruitment Processes to ensure alignment with Federal regulations and company policies
  • Participate actively in Talent Acquisition/HR meetings and events
  • Work as a team player in partnership with the entire Talent Acquisition staff

Experience and qualifications for success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an HR, Business Administration, or other related field helpful
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience recruiting with an ability to recruit remotely in nearby geographies along with varying levels of positions, preferably within Environmental Consulting and/or the A/E/C industries.  Experience with staffing agencies, sales and/or marketing is a plus.  Minimum of three (3) years of post-university experience preferred.
  • Competency with various internet search engines including LinkedIn, Boolean search and ATS software; experience with iCIMS and Zoominfo a plus
  • Required proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels of SWCA's organization
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Department of Labor and OFCCP compliance
  • Passionate adherence to SWCA core values and a strong ability to convey these values to applicants (i.e., serving as an ambassador for SWCA core values)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Comfort working in a team setting

An employee in this position can expect a salary of $60,840.00/year to $79,560.00/year. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.  Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
