Purpose of the role:

As an Associate R&D Programmer (GUI design- specialization), you will apply your talents in ways that make a difference in our world by directly contributing toward technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Svante is developing an in-house dynamic process modeling software to simulate the rapid cycle temperature swing process for performance estimation, process optimization, RAM design and technology scale up etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
• You have experience in GUI interface programming and interest in data visualization and aesthetic.
• You have strong programming skills (Python, MATLAB, etc.), with knowledge of scripting languages.

What success looks like in this role:

• You will be involved in GUI interface programming and design under supervision of dynamic process modeling team.
• You will collaborate with team members to integrate the code into the existing software infrastructure, address any compatibility or integration issues that may arise.
• You will conduct thorough testing and debugging to validate the code and ensure its correctness and stability.
• You will upgrade the existing MATLAB code functions while ensuring the preservation of numerical accuracy.
• You will document the GUI process, including code documentation to facilitate future maintenance and further development.
