Examples of the standards that support our mission include the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standard, and the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (S.D. VISta).
With the rapid growth of the carbon market and, consequently, the expansion of Verra operations, Verra is seeking an Associate for our Program Secretariat Team to contribute to the operations of the stakeholder support team, which is responsible for addressing project-related stakeholder questions and operate communication channels between Verra and Project Proponents or Verification and Validation Bodies (VVBs), and other parties.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a high-talented team and conduct activities that will positively impact our stakeholder support efficiency, quality of our engagement, and responsiveness by employing solution-driven thinking, prioritization, and organization practices and applying the needed procedures for service delivery.

The Program Secretariat team is made up of exceptionally talented to our mission. It is responsible for three primary areas: [1] Data Intelligence, [2] Operational Excelence, and [3] Stakeholder Support. The latter is within the position's scope and is responsible for facilitating project proponents' and other stakeholders' journeys when performing requests and engaging with them through our communication channels.

What we would like to see.
The ideal candidate for this position brings the following experience, background, and skills:
Experience
· 1-3 years of relevant professional or internship experience. Preferably on customer management, customer success and corelated areas.
· Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Experience with the platform SuiteCRM is an advantage.
Education
· A relevant education degree. Degrees in business administration, operations management, supply chain management, or other related sciences are advantageous.
Relevant Skills
· Strong organization and prioritization skills to deliver work efficiently under deadlines.
· Structured thinking to convert current practices into improved, standardized procedures with enhanced tools.
· Problem-solving skills and ability to assess situations from an operational excellence perspective (e.g., how to do an activity faster/easier?)
· Initiative-taker with the ability to excel in a professional environment with limited supervision.
· Ability to navigate and interact with team members based on diverse cultures, time zones, and cultural backgrounds.
· Ability to operate Office 365. Advanced Excel and Power B.I. are advantages.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English is essential. Fluency in other languages, such as Spanish, French, and Portuguese, is an advantage.

For this position, the salary range is between $53,000 and 74,000 USD. The compensation band is based on a U.S. base salary range and shares the position's minimum and maximum base salary.
This position is eligible for remote work. The final compensation offered will be contingent upon role, level, and location. Our Talent team can share the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
