About the role:
Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the profitable growth of all assigned product lines, including pricing, marketing activities of all assigned products and technical support. Project manage all local New Product Development initiatives within the assigned portfolio. Support product rationalization activities and pricing. Support the developing, communicating and deploying Product Roadmaps.
- Facilitate communication between different departments to support sales teams and customers.
- Provide assistance for industrial customer visits and witness tests in the factory.
- Forecasting activities to support Europe supply planning process.
- Support annual pricing review and product rationalization activities.
- Support product launches, including the development of MarCom materials.
- Provide product and application support to both sales teams and customers.
- Travel to customers as required, to promote new products, explore customer needs and define product growth activities.
- Assist in developing strategies and tools to support selling efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent with work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical support or marketing for pumps product lines.
- 2 years of experience with knowledge of engineering principles.
- In-depth knowledge of single and multistage industrial pumps.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes required to build centrifugal pumps.
- Knowledge of Industrial Market {Direct, Indirect, OEM}.
- Above average communication skills for both internal and external sales application contacts.
- Above average skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Responsibility, open-minded, idependence.
- Very good English skills.
- Good communication skills and accuracy.
- MBA or equivalent is a plus.
