ELEVATE is seeking a Director or Associate Director, based in Hong Kong or Singapore, to lead the Responsible Sourcing practice of our Advisory team in the Asia-Pacific region

We are looking for a Director-level leader to join our rapidly growing business in Asia-Pacific and to lead our Responsible Sourcing practice in the region. The ideal candidate is a proven, entrepreneurial leader who is motivated by the opportunity to work in a rapidly growing and successful business at the cutting edge of sustainability and supply chains and to partner with world-class leaders to take on some of the planet’s most pressing ESG challenges. The (Associate) Director will be part of the Asia-Pacific Advisory team and will work with, and learn from, ELEVATE experts from teams across the globe.

In this role, in addition to contributing to the larger ELEVATE ecosystem, you will leverage your Responsible Sourcing expertise and that of our team to support clients to:

• Establish robust Responsible Sourcing and ESG Supply Chain Due Diligence Programs
• Innovate and continuously improve their Responsible Sourcing teams to become or remain global leaders in this space
• Prepare for and respond to challenging situations involving ESG issues in their supply chains

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leadership - Lead growth of the Advisory team’s Responsible Sourcing practice in the Asia-Pacific region, support strategic planning and guidance, and promote a positive working environment that upholds ELEVATE values
• Delivery - Proactively direct and govern projects, resolve challenges, serve as an escalation point, and engage senior ELEVATE and client leaders as needed
• People Management - Grow and manage the team through recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management
• Business Development – Actively and independently source and close business opportunities, promote ELEVATE’s profile through associated activities, and manage and report on business development pipeline
• Product Development – Contribute to global ELEVATE and Advisory team efforts to develop service offerings
• Use and ensure team usage of ELEVATE platforms and in an accurate and timely manner

Experience & Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a relevant field (7+ for Associate Director)
• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field required
• Experience in senior advisory/consultancy roles (incl. team management and business development) required
• Significant Responsible Sourcing experience and expertise required
• Own relevant professional network preferred
• Fluency in written and spoken English required; additional regional languages (e.g., Mandarin) preferred
• Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work virtually, one-on-one, and in a team
  • Capacity to work across different time zones and to hold meetings outside of regular local working hours
