Every day, we work together for what matters – bold, swift, and equitable climate action.
**ABOUT THE ROLE
**
At 3Degrees, we help organizations large and small take action toward a decarbonized, prosperous future. One way we do this work is by originating, marketing, selling, and trading environmental commodities such as Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), Carbon Credits, and Clean Fuel Standard Credits. 3Degrees further leverages our market expertise to support utilities in offering compelling options for their customers to address their carbon emissions. Maximizing 3Degrees’ impact on renewable energy development and climate mitigation involves tracking, analyzing, and influencing the development of the rules that structure these environmental markets.
This is a new position that will report to the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs. The role will manage an existing team focused on providing timely and actionable policy information to internal teams and serve as an individual contributor. This role will also interface regularly with external stakeholders who help shape the commodity markets 3Degrees operates in. There will be plenty of opportunities to grow professionally as part of a growing team within a growing company.
This is a full-time position and can be located anywhere within the U.S., or if the candidate is interested in an opportunity to collaborate in one of our offices (1-day a week) in San Francisco, CA, Portland, OR, New York, NY or Portland, ME.
