Associate- Carbon and Sustainability Accounting Team

CQC was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Washington D.C., USA, with subsidiaries in India, Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia and on-ground teams in a host of countries around the world.

CQC develops high impact carbon finance projects under four operational platforms: Cleaner Cooking, Efficient Lighting, Sustainable Energy and Nature based solutions. Currently we have active carbon project operations in over 15 countries across Sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, and South and Southeast Asia that have improved the lives of over 20 million people.

To support CQC's ongoing sustainability, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting/verification, and climate change mitigation programs, CQC is looking for a Associate- Carbon and Sustainability Accounting Team to become a long-term asset to our growing portfolios across the globe. This individual will be required to complete GHG inventories, verification and validation, prepare climate action and sustainability plans, and other technical work, as well as manage and maintain contact with clients, and manage the schedule and work product performed consistent within CQC's compliance quality standards.

Expectations:

• Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to clearly articulate when reporting data.
• Understanding of various GHG crediting programs such as CDM, VCS, SD VISta, GS etc
• Quick learner with analytical abilities.

Core Tasks:

• Assisting senior team members in preparation of reports related to project cycle, baseline studies, etc.
• Helping with project related research work and background data collection.
• Others duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in the field of Energy and Environment engineering and/or in management may be an advantage depending on the field of study and experience gained.
• One year work experience in related fields preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

Location:

New Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Jaipur

Supervision:

The appointees will report to Chief – CSAT and be overseen by Managers - CSAT, working closely with Senior Managers and other CSAT members, as needed.
