New Moms’ headquarters is located on the west side of Chicago in the Austin neighborhood. Our social enterprise, Bright Endeavors, which provides paid transitional jobs for young moms, is located nearby in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. We also have an office in Oak Park serving the near western suburbs.

About the Job:
This new full-time position will help develop and implement the agency’s ability to bill Medicaid and provide high quality supports to participants as a Behavioral Health Clinic. Serving as part of the program leadership team, the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, provides leadership, direction, oversight and compliance of the clinical functions of our Behavioral Health Clinic Program. This position supports the agency’s vision, philosophy and values. The Assistant Director will champion all New Moms values including our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, in both strategic planning and performance. This position is located at our Chicago office and spends time at the Oak Park office and Bright Endeavors. (Also see COVID-19 Modifications below). Starting Salary: $65,000
Key Job Responsibilities:
75% Leadership of Behavioral Health Clinic
20% Training, Consultation and Reflective Group Supervision
Complete onboarding, annual trainings, and ongoing technical assistance for all staff regarding Medicaid Rule 140 and Table O as well as managed care contracts
Provides administrative support and consultation to support and broaden staff skill levels
Facilitates reflective consultation with program supervisions and direct service staff to provide clinical coaching to help staff grow as professionals and meet program criteria
Provide weekly clinical supervision for staff working to obtain LCSW or LCPC when required
5% Organizational Leadership
As a representative of New Moms on the Leadership Team, represents New Moms in a positive and constructive manner in all dealings with participants, staff, board, government officials, funders, and community partners
Accountable for the hiring, training and supervision of a diverse team, including interns
Facilitate reflective supervision with direct reports and provide coaching to help staff grow as professionals and excel in their role
Upholds the New Moms’ Executive Coaching Skills approach which is grounded in racial equity
Participates in departments budget preparation and reviews; responsible for budget implementation and adherence
