The Assistant Campaigner is a position that is dedicated to supporting the lead campaigners of Greenpeace Bulgaria for energy transition with research, implementation and logistics.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate on this position will be responsible for:
Participating in strategic program meetings and processes
Supporting the implementation of the energy transition campaign for a fossil fuel-free, renewables-based, democratized energy system
Collaborating on national, regional and international level – with Greenpeace offices internationally, and local stakeholders – participating in events, weekly calls; coordinating and preparing public positions and lobby efforts
Preparing (including in providing research) information materials, web-content and reports on campaign topics
Keeping consistent track of ongoing campaign work in order to provide meaningful support to other team members
Managing autonomously the tasks and sub-projects under their responsibility
Experience and skills needed:
Fluent in Bulgarian and English
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
High level of autonomy and self-management
Critical and analytical thinking
Effectiveness and efficiency
Ability to learn fast
Ability to cope under pressure in rapidly changing circumstances
Resilience and flexibility
Professional experience of at least 2 years (this term may be shorter for exceptional candidates)
Identification with Greenpeace goals and supportive of Greenpeace values
What we offer:
Part- time employment contract (28h per week) with a trial period under a labor contract
Gross salary: approx. 1430 BGN, depending on previous experience
