Assistant Accountant

As an Assistant accountant, you will accurate tracking of goods in/out and warehouse status using SAP. Integrate SAP with warehouse operations for real-time updates on inventory orders, product receipts, and purchases. Verify and record transactions promptly to maintain accurate digital records. Implement automation, conduct regular audits, and continuously improve processes for an efficient and error-free warehouse management system.

Once You’re Here, You Will:

• Collaborate with the field team (Field Operation Team) in order to make sure the inventory level in field offices are in line with operation policy.
• Liaise with the field operation team to check the inventory balance at the branches and keep no discrepancy between the Zoho warehouses and SAP system.
• Entering data into SAP related to inventory cost. Examples of such data include landed costs (including shipping, customs, and other fees), accounts payable (AP) and outgoing invoices for purchasing goods or services, and other relevant information.
• Verifying and balancing financial transactions recorded in SAP's General Ledger against other financial records.
• Examining and adjusting the allocation of indirect costs (overhead) in SAP. This monthly process ensures that the assigned overhead costs align with the actual incurred expenses.
• Make necessary adjustments part of the inventory in SAP.
• Support the accounting team for the monthly inventory reconciliation process.
• Provide support to Inventory Analyst, as needed.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or LCCI Level I & II.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the finance and accounting field.
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Forms, Microsoft Office Excel, and Microsoft Office Word.
• Proactive individual with strong planning and organizational skills for managing inventory data.
• Excellent communication skills are required to build trust within the field and the Yangon team.
