SWCA Environmental Consultants is hiring an
SWCA's Sheridan, Wyoming office is seeking a full-time Staff Archaeologist to join our team of cultural resources specialists to assist on a variety of projects across Wyoming, Montana, and the surrounding region. We collaborate regularly with our partnering offices and this position would offer the opportunity to travel beyond the Rocky Mountain/Plains region. Your role will be to assist project archaeologists and principal investigators during field efforts. You will also have the opportunity to work on office-based tasks such as report writing, logistical support and laboratory tasks as needs arise.
Compensation and Schedule: Starting at $21.00/hr.
Work schedule varies but sessions do not typically exceed 8 to 10-days (10-hour days). Per diem, housing, and company vehicles provided. Mileage reimbursement is provided for work-related use of personal vehicles.

An employee in this Wyoming office -based position can expect an hourly wage of $21.00-27.00/hr. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law. Regular-status employees are also eligible for performance bonuses.
