Job Location
This position can be performed 100% remotely or on a hybrid arrangement out of any other US-based EDF office location - candidates must currently reside in and be based out of the United States.
Program Overview
EDF has long been a leading voice on the design of U.S. climate policy and a champion of pragmatic and forward-looking solutions to environmental issues. EDF's Federal Climate Innovation (FCI) Team, a part of the EDF U.S. Region Initiative Hub, is focused on strengthening our tools to create and improve climate solutions, including the development and deployment of key climate technologies and the policy frameworks that can facilitate an equitable and just energy transition. The team works across EDF and with a variety of external stakeholders to build support toward key opportunities, with a particular focus on areas related to industrial decarbonization.
Overall Function
EDF's Federal Climate Innovation Team seeks an Analyst to provide critical research and analysis in support of our U.S. focused efforts to advance ambitious policy solutions to address climate change and facilitate a transition to a net-zero economy. As a key player on a growing team, the Analyst will support our advocacy as we lay the foundation for federal climate legislation and implementation of federal programs relevant to innovation and a net-zero economic transition. The Analyst will ideally be based in Washington, DC and will report to the Manager, Federal Climate Innovation, while working in close collaboration with a range of EDF's climate, economic, and political experts.
