WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are hiring part-time coaches with training to teach soccer, track, basketball, and tennis classes in our after school sports and enrichment programs. Positions would start in September 2022 and last through May-June 2023.
About the role: Our sports coaches are responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a series of age-appropriate introductory to intermediate-level lessons for children and young adults from Kindergarten to middle school. Typically, our coaches work anywhere from 2-5 days and 10-20 hours per week (depending on availability and skill set) at a competitive hourly rate.
Position Responsibilities:
Qualifications: If you have experience leading games for large groups of kids, want to become a stronger coach, or already have a background as a soccer, track, basketball, or tennis coach, this role is for you!
Weekly Schedule: Our sports coaches are expected to work 5-10 hours per week to run after school sports classes on weekdays and weekend sports programs. Most sports classes operate 2 days per week (Mon-Fri) and Saturday mornings (9am - 1pm).
Compensation: This is a part-time, hourly position. We offer competitive hourly rates in the range of $23-30 per hour for after school coaches based on prior experience as a general coach, teaching, youth development specialist, or activity specialist.
