Job Title: Finance + Operations Associate
Department: Finance
Start date: December 1, 2025 (6 months maternity cover)
Reports to: Group Finance Manager
Location: Nairobi
Arrangement: 6 months, hybrid
Role Purpose
reach52 is seeking a Finance + Operations Associate that will support reach52’s mission to build access to healthcare for 52% of the world, who currently cannot access it.
You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily operational processes, and strengthening financial controls across our Africa operations. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing, mission-driven business.
Core role scope and responsibilities of the role will be
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, invoices, and payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and e-filing systems for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Support financial reporting by compiling and analysing data for monthly and quarterly summaries.
- Track inventory, assets, and operational expenses for accurate reporting.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and assist in preparing materials for audits and reviews.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to finance and operations functions.
Who you are (probably)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in finance or operations, preferably in a fast-paced or multi-country setting.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills and initiative.
- Passionate about making a tangible impact through efficient systems and responsible financial management.
