About the role
The goal of the Groups Field Assistant is to support the delivery of world-leading under 18 groups programs in-country, by focusing on participant experience.
Role and responsibilities:
Assisting with Dives
Supporting the Groups Program Manager and Coordinator in the running of school group and under 18 programs
Assisting with project work including planning sessions
Managing the groups on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they have a positive experience
Interacting with local partners for certain activities
Delivering presentations and training relevant to the project activities
Acting as an enthusiastic role model for participants and providing guidance and mentorship
Working with the team to ensure the program operates to a high standard and all health and safety protocols are followed
Basic Maintenance of dive equipment and dive equipment area in base as required per GVI Standards.

Professional skills and experience:
Advanced Open Water
Prior experience running/ managing participants on group or individual service or adventure programs desirable
Qualifications in one of the following: Emergency first response, Mountaineer, Wilderness Safety or equivalent
Local knowledge beneficial
Conversational Spanish (advantage)
