Your Responsibilities:
- Development of the core controls software for our gas engine products utilized for production of electricity and heat
- Specification, implementation, and testing of new software features
- Design of our next generation controls system to meet future challenging requirements on enhanced engine efficiency and transient performance
- Creating reliable operation with alternative fuels like hydrogen, cope with advanced safety and cyber security standards, and more to come
- Develop innovative controls solutions for engine genset applications being integrated into complex electric network topologies like multi-engine power plants, microgrids or large modern datacenters providing decentralized / backup power
- Experience with automation software programming in either Structured text, Matlab Simulink, Phyton or similar
- Reporting directly to the functional Manager at the HQ in Jenbach/Austria, and dotted line to the local Team Leader in Veresegyház/Hungary
Your Profile:
- Master or Bachelor degree in controls-, software-, mechatronics-, or electrical engineering
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in industrial automation and control engineering
- Proven PLC programming skills in either one of the following programming languages: PLC Systems like B&R, SIEMENS, Bachmann, Beckoff, IEC structured text, Codesys, Matlab Simulink, Phyton, or C/C++
- Active use of English (both spoken and written)
- Fundamental knowledge and interest on internal combustion engines
- Likes to work in a global multicultural environment with openness of occasional traveling within Europe
