Salary:  £25,000 - £27,000 per annum pro rata, depending on level of experience, along with pension benefits after 3 months.

Duration: Temporary fixed-term (maternity cover) - August 2024 to end of January 2025.

Flexible working: We offer a fully flexible working environment.

Annual leave: 12.5 days of annual leave for the duration of this contract (dependant on start date). Plus, a Christmas shutdown week from 27/12/2024 to 31/12/2024.

Location: UK wide working from home.

Common Purpose, a global non-profit working with purpose to develop leaders who can cross cultural, institutional, and social boundaries, to better solve complex problems both in organizations and society, are seeking a highly motivated Admin Support Manager (maternity cover) to join us on a fixed term basis.

Are you someone who is looking for a temporary role that will build your skills and experience? Someone who can support sales activity across a diverse range of products for a socially driven organization? Do you enjoy managing administrative processes without which an organization cannot function successfully?

You will support the business development team who sell our leadership development programmes across the UK. We are looking for someone who has strong administration and client management experience who can work at pace across multiple projects at the same time, meeting deadlines and delivering the highest possible quality. The role is full of variety and perfect for anyone looking to broaden their exposure is both not-for-profit and commercial environments.

This is a temporary fixed-term role. The successful candidate can be home-based anywhere in the UK (all IT equipment is provided).

You will:

  • Work as part of a small, focused team to create and see real impact in your work.
  • Support key members of the team by phoning clients to get meetings in diaries and maintaining good CRM including updating records and logging key activities.
  • Support with the production of PowerPoints, reports and proposals as required.
  • Support in building our groups of younger change-makers across the UK.

Essential requirements:

  • Experience of managing and prioritizing a high workload and multiple tasks, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience of diary management.
  • Strong administration experience including confidence when calling new people on the phone.
  • Able to use and maintain effective CRM systems.
  • Experience of stakeholder management - building and maintaining strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and managing their expectations.
  • Excellent written English, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
