Instill’s mission is to transform teaching, learning, and leadership in every classroom on the African continent. We believe that the greatest levers for change in the education system are teachers and school leaders. In January 2023, Instill Education was accredited as a higher education institution in South Africa, and is seeking to build a team that will change the face of teacher education across the continent. We’re looking for Adjunct Lecturers for Afrikaans, English, and isiZulu Home Language to join our growing team to ensure the success of our first cohorts of student-teachers.

What does the role entail?
As an Adjunct Lecturer, you will be working under Instill’s Academic Dean in Johannesburg to deliver content on the PGCE in Foundation Phase teacher training programme. The role of the Adjunct is anchored in sound theoretical and practical knowledge of preparing teacher trainees to lead their own classrooms. Adjuncts are contracted for a fixed amount of hours per week for the duration of the block.
