Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description

As Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will manage a portfolio of accounts; utilizing phone calls, emails, and interpersonal communications to ensure that Accounts Receivable are collected in accordance with standardized metrics.

In this position, you will be responsible for

• Making regularly scheduled collection calls
• Building relationships with AP representatives at our client’s offices
• Maintaining a good follow up system to ensure promises to pay are met and accounts are not neglected
• Annotating accounts from all calls so that a history is maintained for all accounts regarding collections efforts
• Reviewing over payments and short payments and resolve in a timely manner
• Posting cash payments daily

**Your profile
**

• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 0-2 years of B2B Collections in fast paced, high volume environment
• Preferred previous experience in (commercial) collections or knowledge of (commercial) collections
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable systems, including Oracle, SAP and SUN
• Strong analytical skills and proven ability to interpret (complex) data
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
• Excellent team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship
