Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk

One Tree Planted is looking to hire an Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk to process and reconcile all incoming and outgoing invoices.

One Tree Planted is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on global reforestation. As an environmental charity, we are dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

We are looking for an Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk to add to our fast-growing team. The ideal candidate would be based in Montreal, have a Bachelor's degree, 3 years of relevant experience, and be a self-starter. You would be working with the Senior Bookkeeper as well as our Operations Team by accurately and efficiently processing all incoming and outgoing invoices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounts Payable:
  - Collect invoices from suppliers:
  - Check and reconcile invoices to agreements
  - Process invoices
  - Submit invoices for payment when due
• Accounts Receivable:
  - Issue invoices and receipts to donors
  - Chase outstanding invoices
• Other ad-hoc tasks to assist the accounts team

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3 years work experience in a similar role
• Experience with Salesforce and Accounting Seed are beneficial
• Based in Montreal, QC, Canada
