The Northwest Office opened in 1987 to protect the people and environment of the Pacific Northwest. Since that time, the Northwest office has partnered with conservationists, community groups, and tribes to protect old growth forests, defend salmon and salmon streams, stop coal and oil shipping terminals, shield farmworkers and their families from pesticides, and promote a just transition to clean energy, among other things. Although the primary focus of the Northwest office is representing environmental and citizensā groups in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, we often take cases with national and international scope.
